I am a Registered Psychologist, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and an approved Victims of Crime Counsellor with Department of Communities and Justice – Victims Services scheme. My professional background extends to a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) in 2008 from Deakin University before completing a Masters in Public Health in 2011. In 2019, I completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and in 2020 I completed my Postgraduate in Psychology, completing all requirements to meet the standards of registered psychologist. I have gained my experience working for NGOs and public settings including working in Early Intervention with children and families, Child Protection (in a management role), Domestic Violence, Mental Health and Complex/Developmental Trauma. My experience in these fields have allowed me to utilise the best of both disciplines of social work and psychology to support you achieve your goals. My main therapy modalities include Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Clinical Resource Therapy (Advanced Ego States), Mindfulness, Brief Solution Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am a full member of EMDRAA (The Australian Association of EMDR) and a Clinical Resource Therapist. I have a strong passion for working in trauma, including children in Out-of -Home Care as I have a deep level of understanding of the systems with this population. I am proud to have worked with Universities in a supervision capacity and work with organisations both Government and Non-Government providing Individual and Group Supervision with a strong focus on trauma-informed practice. As an Approved Victims Services Counsellor with the Department of Communities and Justice I am able to work with individuals and families from a variety of backgrounds who suffer from Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and trauma. I am also registered as a Work and Development Order Sponsor through the NSW State Revenue. I look forward to meeting with you and walking beside on your journey of healing and growth.
